Received the new Carver cover yesterday August 7. It was ordered on July 27 via standard shipping. Total cost was $455 for my Dauntless 16 with a bow rail. The cover does not have an attached O/B cover but a separate O/B cover is included with the order. Also included is a nylon mesh storage bag and a dozen tie-down straps with snap-together buckles.
It's a nice Sunbrella "made to fit from a pattern" cover. I installed it this morning before it started getting hot. About thirty minutes later we had a nice thunderstorm. We only got about .3 inches but it was over in about fifteen minutes with a lot of lightning and hard gusts of wind.
The cover performed well even though the fit is not as perfect as it was with the custom cover it replaced. There was no pooling and that's the most important part.
I expect that the fit will improve as the cover stretches, shrinks, and settles in fully.
I'm happy with the purchase even though it was a bit pricey.
I bought it on-line from an outfit that guarantees to match any on-line price you find plus a 10%deduction of the difference between the price you find and the price they advertise. Their shipping was $16 less than the other outlet's so that was another small savings.

Second the recommendation. I have bought their covers at far less than Mills and most importantly, they stand behind their product. They are very knowledgeable about their product.

Gentlemen & Ladies:
We bought a boat cover from Carver for our Outrage 190. The cover was one of their custom covers and it fits quite well. Only time will tell as far as longevity is concerned but the fit and quality at this point are very good.
