This is unbearable. I am watching Yankee hater ESPN broadcasters take up two entire innings talking to Luis Tiant, instead of announcing the damn Yanks-Sox game. I wish I could lend them my Whaler to send them to Cuba, as that is all they are talking about. I am after all compassionate, and want their safety. I just don't want them announcing my game anymore.

Yankee haters?

Wow. Out here in A. L. Central country ESPN is known as the Red Sox/Yankee network. We call Baseball Tonight Red Sox/Yankees Tonight. It's so blatant.

You know they are going to pimp the heck out of the show that they did on Tiant going back to Cuba.

I didn't recall that he had pitched for the Yanks late in his career.

Sal, since BOSTON Whalers are from RED SOX NATION, I suggest you convert to a NY brand boat...like the Moonie's True World Marine : 7 )

Mambo... That True World 24 diesel Jersey City boat almost had me at a boat show a few years back!

Baseball simply puts me to sleep. I used to play as a kid, was passionate about the game until 1994. Then the strike... have never and will never go back. Is there a more out of touch group of people? A couple hundred thousand dollars a year for playing a childs game and you go on strike? Give me a break... Give these pampered clowns a real job for a month and they'd be crying back to their mommy's.... I'd rather watch paint dry then support this game...

I stopped going to games when the Brooklyn Dodgers moved to Los Angeles (of all places), and they razed Ebbets Field. I was about 12-14 years old.

Binkie

That's when baseball was great... Back in the fifties... Those guys played for the love of the game... I envy you, You must have seen some incredible players come through the gates at Ebbetts field.

What the game has become makes me sad and a bit angry.
I have no desire to watch these steroid filled players belt balls over the fence. Real baseball has more to it than just swatting home runs.
