website looks gone. I did a WHOIS, and Joe's registration of the domain name expired yesterday. Hope he didn't lose it, it will cost a bunch to get it back if someone jumped it...

Usually the domain is in a holding of 45 days so that the registrant can maintain it and not have it swiped by internet pimps. Not very good news. I hope it's just a glitch. More the merrier on these sites and the info available to all.

Yes; There is very little doubts that Joe is getting plenty of EMail at this very moment.

If there is a problem with that site contact Joe or one of the other administrators over there. Doubt anyone here can help. There has been times before when the site has gone off because some forgot to pay the bill. Looks like it happened again.

Hmmm...I'll take the simplicity of CW...easier for JimH to protect against Hackers.

That way, us addicts can get our fix.

:)

The site is up now.

I think its so dumb to have a "competition" among two Whaler websites.

I think is equally ridiculous to put down a competitor Whaler website for no reason or in a vein attempt to appease jimh who I am sure does not respect that kind of post anyway.

I think I have a membership to the other site mentioned but had not thought of logging on to it in years until reading this thread.

I think I get all I need from here, but if there is something there for me, that is all good too.

No need to bash either site.

I read both sites and love them both. Definitely more back-biting here on several occasions which is a bit of a turn-off but each to his own.
If I get back on the water by Labor Day I'll eat my shorts (public event). It's been a long summer landlocked.

At least on Whaler Central threads don't just disappear without explanation like the one for trim tabs on the Nantucket--GONE! No soup for you.
