I have a recently purchases 1992 21'Walkaround. The boat is in the water and its going to rain for the next 4-5 days. I have no boat cover and no automatic bilge pumps in the fish boxes. Just washing the boat down those boxes fill up with water, so obviously it won't be good during several days of rain

Is the best short-term solution to leave the fish box plugs out and let the wells fill up? I assume they will fill to a certain level and allow overflow rain-water to escape - or will the boat fill up...?

Thanks,
Tom

Are the fish boxes below the waterline?
