Jim - it's a PDF you can only pull by being a member (free). Since you are a member, you can pull it and put it here in your storage area if you wish.

Glen's PDF is a picture of some text. If I have enough time perhaps I can transcribe the picture of the text back into text and re-publish it as text instead of a picture of text.

I did browse the listing of dealers and noted that there were no Mercury dealers in Michigan on the list of Mercury dealers with high customer satisfaction index scores. This outcome is consistent with my general experience with Mercury dealers in southeast Michigan.

Text as mentioned above

Mercury Marine would like to announce the 2009 Service Customer Satisfaction Index (Service CSI) Award winning dealers. Mercury Marine began the Service CSI program in 2006, which recognizes dealers for their commitment to excellent customer service. We are happy to announce that 91 dealers throughout the United States and Canada qualified for the 2009 Service CSI Award.

To the delight of all Mercury service customers, dealers are focusing their efforts on customer service and to earn the Service CSI Award, as we will be continuing this successful program for 201 O. In order to qualify for the 2010 Service CSI Award, servicing dealer must meet or exceed the following requirements:

--Be a Mercury Premier or Certified Service level dealer at the end of the fourth quarter of 2010.

--Have a minimum of 30 Service CSI surveys returned from customers during the 2010 calendar year, orfor those dealers that have between 15 and 29 surveys returned during 2010, maintain a 60% or better total response rate.

--Maintain a rolling 12 month score of 90 or higher for 2010 on each of the Service CSI surveys questions below:

----Question 4: Overall, how satisfied were you with your service experience?

----Question 14: Please indicate your overall satisfaction with your service advisor.

----Question 16b: Based on your engine service experience, how likely would you be to revisit servicing dealer for future repairs?

Mercury Marine congratulates these dealers on winning the 2009 Service CSI Awards, and thanks them for providing exceptional service to our mutual customers:

[From here the optical character recognition failed because the text was contained in bounding rectangles and arranged in an odd two-column format. If there is overriding interest in this data, perhaps someone can append the listing of dealers in plain text.]

Or just become a memeber. Dopwnload the PDF to your computer and then resign as a member. This is not a ploy to get members, I don't care if you join. Email me if you would like the PDF directly. Sorry, but I received it as a PDF.

Jim you can take a screen shot and turn it into a JPG and publish that here.

My email is glen@veradoclub.com

Glen--I think you misunderstand my comment. I simply am interested in getting the information as plain text, instead of a picture of text. Once text is changed from text to a picture of text, it loses a great deal of its information content. On CONTINUOUSWAVE we strongly prefer text to remain text, not to be converted pictures of text. That is my only concern. It is great to have information, but when the information is made harder and harder to obtain, either by restrictions to access it freely or by making the information a picture of text, the information loses its value. The best way to convey the information about which Mercury dealers were awarded recognition by Mercury is simply to append a list of them in plain text. As it stands now, to obtain this information one needs:

--access to reserved section of a website
--access to a PDF document reader
--ability to read an image of text as text

These three hurdles to the information seriously reduce its value as information. The best way to distribute information that was originally text is to maintain it as text.
