My Dad just brought up my '71 Nauset. Does anyone have/know of storage for my boat and trailer in the Millburn/Summit/Chatham vicinity (withing 20 miles)? My driveway is too steep to back up the boat.

I live just down the road in Berkeley Heights. I trailer my boat as well, but unfortunately my wife will only allow 1 boat in the driveway.

I don't know where you will do your primary boating, but you might look in the Lake Hopatcong area. North Jersy Marine offers storage, though I have no information regarding availability or pricing.

Also, on Route 22 out by Round Valley reservoir, Lebanon Bait & Sport Shop may offer storage.

If you will primarily be boating in the Raritan Bay/Sandy Hook area, there are several marinas that might offer trailer storage.

None of these locations are right around the corner from you, but I don't know of any locations nearby.

Thanks for the reply and PMs. I got lucky and found very reasonable parking in Mt Arlington a mile from Lake Hopatcong.

We boat on Lake Hopatcong several times each summer. We'll keep our eyes open for you.
