I have never seen a Whaler used in a West Marine on-line ad: https://webmail.west.cox.net/do/mail/message/view?msgId=INBOXDELIM37431 |

Wow, that was strange. There was a Spring Splash ad for West Marine that had an 80's Outrage featured prominently in the photo. I went back to the West Marine site and now there is a photo of sailboats. Puzzling. Please disregard this link. |

Actually it is a Guardian or Raider. There is nothing unusual about a Whaler in a West Marine ad. I have seen many over the years. West Marine often shows boats in their ads. Boston Whalers are popular and common boats that have been made for a very long time so it is really no surprise at all that one should show up in a boating equipment ad from time to time. |

I had to break down and go to West Marine today also, and I saw an add they had [for other products on sale but not involving a Boston Whaler boat]. |

I have seen that boat for sale several times on Craigslist for a couple of years. I have not seen it advertised for quite a while now. I believe the owner (or former owner) is pictured operating the boat. The craigslist ad sometimes linked to a website where more pictures were posted. That picture was one of the pictures I have seen before. I believe it had twin pre-Etec Evinrudes. It is a 22. Doug Vazquez |
