Finally nice in the PNW. Took the Sport 15 for a little trip. South entrance to Saddlebag, a Washington State Park Island. Mount Baker and the "mainland" in the background. http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d137/jmartin-/DSCF8092.jpg My mighty vessel with it's new motor. Got a few weeds on it. http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d137/jmartin-/DSCF8112.jpg Tribal crab fishery boat. Lots of them were out that day. It was fun navigating the pots at speed. http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d137/jmartin-/DSCF8093.jpg One of Saddlebag's campsites. There is no dock so if you are going to spend the night, you will be going dry. http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d137/jmartin-/DSCF8109.jpg A seldom seen thus very rare Tribal Triamaran. http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d137/jmartin-/DSCF8116.jpg The end of a day, a sailor's delight. http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d137/jmartin-/DSCN0846.jpg And this is from today. Ya know, it really pays off sometimes to know where you are. Low tide was 10:30am This was taken about 3:00pm. http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d137/jmartin-/DSCF8141.jpg John |

John - Look forward to your pictures every time you post. One problem though. It just started doing that. |

Frontier, I get the same message from my Norton suite, just lately. Doug |

As always, great shots, John. You live in a beautiful location. If that photo was taken after almost five hours of a rising tide, that guy must have run aground near the earlier high tide, I reckon, and for all we know he still might be sitting there. Running aground is sorta like the most basic rock climbing rule which states, optimistically, 'the leader must not fall, period,' except it's 'run aground all you like, but never at high tide.' I noticed the same Norton warning when I went to check if the pictures loaded correctly. Is it still doing it? I have since found out the stranded boat was a mechanical failure and they pulled it in like that. It's the North end of the Swinomish Slough and he was waiting for tide and a tow. John

Weird, I loaded the pictures on my home computer which has Norton, sent them to my photo bucket account from there. Came to work and did this post and link on my work computer that has Symantec. If I look at the pictures from home get the Norton warning but not from here and it is only that batch that gives me the warning from home. John |
