Tohsgib: I thought the same but 3 things, The hammerhead has a small mount, look how much he took of the tarpon, slow down the (watch the trailer) and look at the size of the head, then look at the size of the body by the dorsel fin |

I know that is why they have never KILLED a human because their mouth is so small. Usually they go by the head to fin x 2 so I would say closer to 10' as you don't count the long tail fin which in this case would make it closer to 14'. Everything looks bigger in the water ;) |

Depends who you are talking to on the size of their mouth.... |

I have fished and dove for lobster, under the the Long Key bridge for nearly 40 years, and have seen some big sharks, but never a hammer head, but just north west of there on the Bamboo banks I have see some giant Hammers heads sharks amd hugh sand tiger sharks as well, so it is not toooo surprising that they do not pass through the Long Key bridge. But neat video it is getting much play on other forums. |

Big mouth, small mouth, 10 feet, 14 feet; if that thing came up to take a fish outta my hands I would have instantly soiled myself. |

David, I'm with you. I have my bucket list; hand-feeding large sharks isn't on that list. |

I am sorry, but they all belong as candidates for the Darwin awards. |

Maybe if the Shark bit him, they could have sued the boat manufacturer for making the gunnels so low, or being ablr to place your hanrd over the side, or something stupid like that. Seriously, they are the reasons our insurance is so high, liability is so expensive and unfortunately, there are f----ed up lawyers williing to take the case. Simply amazing stupidity |
