This is a call to all members here to keep the families in our thoughts and prayers. I know many members here live in the greater San Francisco Bay Area and maybe might have seen it. I personally live a mile from the epicenter and was getting my hair cut less than 1/2 mile away. I ask for prayers and thoughts.

A terrible and scary event and though I am a "Chesapeake Explorer" 3000 miles away , close to my soul as well. I lived in Rollingwood and went to third grade (1962) at Rollingwood Ele. 3/4 a mile away to the north. My condolences to the familes that lost loved ones and all those who lost their homes.

A woman I used to date before Adm. Linda lives six houses
from the edge of the fire zone on the map that was in the San
Jose Mercury-News that evening. She and her mom and the
furries (she's a veterinarian) and the house are OK, but it was really scary.
