Taking off this weekend, headed for Florida, boat in tow! I plan on hooking up with a friend and doing the whole St. John's River, and perhaps the Intercoastal back. After that, it's time to sell this old boat. My health is deteriorating and so is momma's. Would enjoy running into a fellow Whaler.

Sweet! I hope you enjoy your run. I've heard that is one fun ride. Had a large group of Jersey Speedskiffs run it a few years ago but was not able to attend. I hope you really enjoy it! zot.

Depends on what part of the river you are, there are quite a few members who live on or near it. We have done a couple rendezvous on it as well.

BAlas, The weather has been simply terrible. Oh well, the toclewaha and the harris chain of lakes have been interesting so far.

Bad weather and all, the trip up the Ocklawaha to the Moss bluff Lock and Dam and onwards was interesting. Going to take it again into Silver Springs. Like Riverboating in the olden days, except with the nimble Whaler.
