You can find lamps for boat trailers at suppliers who specialize in boat trailer parts. Try CHAMPION TRAILER. |

Give Karavan a call. I had a rusted axle on my Karavan trailer and my local supplier wanted $150 for one of their axles which I thought was steep in price. I called Karavan and they dropped shipped an axle to my house for $80 shipped to my door. Worth a shot to give them a call. |

These are to be exact replacements for side marker lights on a 2008 trailer for a 170 montauk. I have the type that connect with a connector plug in the back. |

Contact Karavan directly. They'll sell you the lamp assemblies. They may even provide the vendor information. My 2009 190 Montauk on a Karavan trailer came with a pretty extensive owner's manual so if you need a part number let me know. Did your marker lamp fail or is it damaged? Yours are LED? Butch |

It seems to me like the best vendor of exact replacement parts for the KARAVAN boat trailer is KARAVAN themselves. It also seems to me like the KARAVAN company has a nice website and it has good information content on the parts, part numbers, and precise descriptions of parts they use. Sometimes you may have to pay a premium to order parts from the original equipment manufacturer, particularly if the OEM did not actually make the particular component and if the component is available from other sources. However, it is often more convenient to just pay a small premium to get the part from the trailer manufacturer, rather than try to hunt it down to the individual part original manufacturer. In the case of a $10 lamp, there can't be too much mark-up. |

Hi all. I appreciate all the feedback. I will go direct to Karavan. I just [wondered how many people had knowledge of the] direct source on that particular light. Keep Whailn. |

The direct source of the light from most trailer lamps is the incandescent bulb or the LED inside them. |
