My '94 Montauk, Tauking Heads, has been out of the water since September. Work has kept me busy, and I haven't even had the chance to think about her. Sadly this is the first year since 2002 that I haven't spent so much time on the internet in the off-season staying cyber-close to my boat on this forum. I hope all is well, and I hope to get launched in late April. I need salt air.

Sal,With Fridays forecast calling for sun and temperatures in the 70s, you may want to get "sick" Thursday night and call out on Friday... "Tauking Heads" is calling to you... can't you hear her? I know where I'll be and what I'll be doing this weekend. FishMagnet will be ready to splash before April 01. I WILL BE READY FOR STRIPER SEASON this spring. Last year while I recovered from a ruptured achilles, she didn't get wet until the end of May... Norm |

Sal I popped the cover from the Lite"A"Morn today and started cleaning her up. Damn it feels good to be on her, even if she's on my trailer in the RV/boat yard.I'm hoping to pull her up to Keyport in a week or so. |

Sal,Nice to hear from you. I have been working on wood and electronics in the basement, but I am looking forward to some nice weekends when I can wash, compound, polish and wax the hull. I am targeting May 1 to have her ready. No way I can be ready sooner. Work is too busy. Dan

Howdy my Jersey friends (and those not in Jersey).I can't get earlier than the end of April due to commitments. I am leaving later today with my oldest to do a 4 day southern college tour. I will be looking for Whalers in Wilmington NC on Monday, fyi! Remember, Advil for the sore shoulders from rubbing and compounding! |

Sal,Enjoy the college touring season. I have a couple of years left yet. Now, off to strip some more wood, and, hopefully, get the deck up. Screws are out already. Dan |
