I guess this is my fault for commenting in another article that the marine life was returning to NYC waterways and it was better than the waste - This alert was released for recreational users of the Hudson, Harlem and parts of the East Rivers: From the NT Daily News online article written by staff writers Jennifer H. Soooooo, How many gallons of raw sewage was deliberatly pumped into this wasteway? Where is the emergency response? How is the clean up operation going? This is just as dangerous as an oil spill, but we just shrug and say "oh well". The folks responsible for this incident should have to appear before congress, and a root cause investigation should be performed. Oh wait! forgot, this was an accident and spill at a GOVERNMENT run facility! Never mind. No CNN coverage needed. |
