Jaspell	posted 01-13-2012 12:03 AM ET (US)         I have a 1976 Outrage "bannana boat." Can someone please tell me what the OEM main fuel tank capcity on this model is. I have the original tank. The sending unit is inop and I am trying to calculate range using tank capcity and fuel burn. Thanks.

L H G	posted 01-14-2012 03:24 AM ET (US)          From an empty tank test I did on mine, the actual capacity of the tank is 42.5 gallons, but as is customary, Boston Whaler advertizes the tank as a "usable" 40 gallons, as indicated by Raaaay.
