Many years ago I was purchasing parts from the whaler dealer in Beaufort, South Carolina. I remember a Whaler advertisement poster with a bulldozer on top of a flipped Outrage hull. Does anyone have a source for this or other older Whaler advertisements? Thanks |

Check out ebay search under Boston Whaler. Some ads are there. |

Great picture and marketing. It's also in the 1996 through 2002 Boston Whaler full line brochures. |

I also remember one Whaler ad that claimed that a Whaler was as safe on the water as a Volvo was on the road. In addition to show how safe the Whaler was, it also floated the Volvo! Later the ad was featured on a TV show that proved/disproved popular ads. The show confirmed that the 22 or 25 foot Whaler could float the Volvo. |

Flawton, I have one of the posters with the bulldozer sitting on top of the Outrage. The title of the post is "On warm sunny days, Whaler owners just love to sit on their boat". That was given as an award at the Whaler Rendezvous in Beaufort about six years ago. From what I understand, Will Rogers has about 2,314 of them sitting in his office. (I have offered in the past to take all of the old advertising stuff off his hands so that he can have more room in his office). Give Tracy a call at Whaler9. Good luck! --- WhalerAce |
