No seats--ll room to fish and rod holders, no bow rail, full-length side rails to lean on, full electronics suite--stark and focused.

What's the function of the huge box? Bait well? Ice box/cooler?

Looked like a huge bait tank. It is so close to the console, I assume he uses the leading edge of the bait tank as a seat or leaning post. There was not a seat anywhere in his boat--nor is there in mine. The bait tank, while rather large, was centered so that you could fish all the way around Further, stark as his boat was, his trailer was superb.
