Right I have polished the flat surfaces of the boat, but what to do about the anti skid? It's now clean but has no protection on it, what do you folks use?

Opps sorry delete, a search has revealed that Woody Wax is available here, so I will give that a go. |

The deck surfaces with special texture to help maintain traction are called Non-Skid deck areas. The term Anti-Skid is used to describe active braking systems. If you want to find prior articles on the topic of deck surfaces, use non-skid as a search term. |

Woody Wax is good stuff, but use it very sparingly. |

If you use too much Woody Wax, your non-skid will become slippery. Apply it on a wet deck with a brush and allow to dry for 24 hours. After you wait, spray the deck down with water to remove the excess wax. I am a big fan of Woody Wax, but if you apply too much (I've done this before) you non-skid will become slippery, which is not a good thing. |
