I'm hoping to build a scale model of a late 60s Montauk and am looking for plans or drawings to use as reference. Ideally the finished model will be 2-3' long. If anyone has anything they can offer I would appreciate it.

Thanks
Bob

It is going to be hard to make a model of a late-1960's MONTAUK. The MONTAUK model was introduced in c.1973.

I don't know of any on-line source for line drawings of the MONTAUK. I believe a few people have developed some from their own resources. Perhaps they'll chime in.

Actually I have a Katham based on the montauk hull. It was built in late 69. Prior to that I had an Eastport that I sold this summer. These are great boats. I'm also into scale model boats, ideally RC controlled hence the desire to build a scale model.

Sounds like a cool project.

Montauk model came later. Blue interior 16'7s were Nauset, Eastport, Katama, Sakonnet, Currituck, Minot, etc. First Montauk model was made in 1973. Details are here:

One of the members here developed a scale model a few years ago. Do a search to find the details.
