Nice pilot demo John, still disappointed I missed you in Yorktown, now I see why you were delayed departing Norfolk. It sounds like you are focused on securing a network to televise, but if your plans from Boston to Maine leg get firmed up, I would be interested in joining you on the second go around. Best of luck and Happy Whalering! |

My wife and I watched it tonight on the Tivo and it was very interesting. I hope we get to see it on the travel channel soon. :-) |

Cool pilot. I'd definitely throw it in the DVR lineup if it were on TV. I get that the corporate sponsors and cameras and all that are necessary and what makes this kind of thing happen, but I think it'd be cool to see an interview with the folks from Mississippi as well. Looks to me like they're the ones really doing it up. Great work John! |

John, so glad to see your progress and that the dream is still alive! It would have been a waste if nothing was produced from all of the footage! Well done! Good Luck with the rest. Scott |

unfortinuatly the popular "reality" shows are mostly about a bunch of rednecks fighting and arguing with each other about gators, cutting trees, driving trucks, fishing, bidding on foreclosed homes for sale or some other trivial nonsense. This might make a good documentary for the National Geographic Channel. Mostly civilized folks are the audience. rich |

Yes, it's an up hill battle with current television programming. However, I go back to a conversation I had with ane Emmy winning documentarian: Me "Yeah but it seems half the people out there like the trivial reality crap that's on tv right now." Documentarian: "Yeah, but the other 50% is patiently waiting for quality programming with a positive message and worthwhile content." John |
