fluke	posted 04-13-2013 01:16 PM ET (US)         Well we have another short salmon season again here in california. Any stories or info to share from our Whaler anglers? Down here in Santa Barbara the counts are very low, but I'm going to give it a try tomorrow! Mark
andygere	posted 04-16-2013 01:59 AM ET (US)             The opener was slow, but last Saturday was a steady pick on the west side of Soquel Hole, Monterey Bay. We picked up 4 nice salmon by 11, and the wind came up and send us home around noon. Wind has been crazy strong up this way, blowing 30+ just about every afternoon. 8-14 lbs, 30 to 60 feet down, FBRs, hoochies and Apex, all behind a big Hotspot flasher. https://sphotos-b.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-prn1/ 544800_10151549055289687_592506409_n.jpg
