Our collective vote will be for the Classic Outrage 19 1975. The Absolute #1 Whaler by regional voted choice. A very close second will be the the Classic Outrage 21 1972 I would really welcome this model as my next refit. http://continuouswave.com/ubb/Forum1/HTML/005924.html Let's get back to the basics on this subject guys. |

Even though I own a 1988 Outrage 18 that has come along quite nicely in the clean up dept. since I bought it last year, my vote would be for the 21 ft. banana hull dump truck style. In other words, the early 21 outrages. This is purely on looks alone. From a collectors standpoint, these are the boats to have. Drew |

And where is Larry's opinion when we need it? Actually I am not that sure that he would commit to a single model. Will it be the Outrage 19? The Montauk? The Outrage 21? It would be good to hear of the advantage of all these hulls. |

Personally I never understood the fascination with banana hulls, they are not my cup of tea at all. When I think of a Boston Whaler I think of a 13' or 17' hull. A nice Sakonnet is about as Whaler as it gets. Also the lines of the 15' hull are sweet |

Teak Oil, the bananas are just so different with nothing else like them around. I really don't know how they ride or perform but I think they are cool looking. Drew |

Jeff... Quote. Jeff, that model always turns heads. Yes in disgust. If a picture is worth a thousand words That poor Montauk is..suffering from some very strange illness... Sort of nauseating to look at, ya think? And Jim Gotta like the color of the 15, trying hard to match the canvasses colors.. Looks like a project for someone. |

And further on the subject; I will try to get to the bottom of a subject Calling to compare the Boston Whaler 25 Walk around, coincidentally for sale presently and displayed here on this site http://whalerwalkaround.blogspot.ca/ And the equally famous Grady White 25 Walk around |
