I'm selling my '89 Outrage 22 Cuddy which is powered by a great running '89 Yamaha 130. I bought this boat a few years ago from my father-in-law who was the second owner. The hull (inside and out) has been wet sanded and polished and new bottom paint was professionally applied about 12 months ago. The two console seat cushions and the stern seat have new upholstery. All of the teak is in great condition and oiled regularly. The boat has a Mills bimini (blue) with stainless rails and a TaylorMade boat cover. The boat comes with a custom '94 Boatmaster dual axle trailer with disk brakes. All 4 tires were relaced 12 months ago. This solid boat has been very well maintained and used only a few times a year in the Tampa Bay area. I am located in Lakeland, FL.

Price $20,000 or best offer.

Email me for additional information: dshiver3@tampabay.rr.com or call 863-648-1721.

John I thought the same but No, it is a single 130.

As the owner of this particular model, I have to say this boat provides the best of both worlds: Storage and accommodations of a cuddy, with the space and fishability of a center console. These boats are somewhat rare, and this is a particularly clean looking example.

The boat looks like it is in great shape. How does that 130 push it? It looks like a lot of boat for a V4 outboard.

This 22 and her big sister, the classic OR 25 cuddy, are IMHO the most beautiful Whalers ever made. Man, at that price I'd dump the Yami 130, repower with a V6 F200 or F225, and live happily ever after. (I love what you did with your fine 22 cuddy, Andy, but in my fantasy I'm keeping the Yamaha controls on this one.) What a sweet boat, and man oh man is that price good if the boat and trailer are as advertised...wouldn't last a week on the west coast at that price, that's for sure. Tow her out to San Francisco and I'll prove it myself, dshiv ;-)

Wow, that's a GREAT looking 22 - wish my budget could stand another boat, I'd LOVE to have it!! I've never owned a cuddy like that, but it would appear to offer a fishing podium, as well as storage and sleeping - is there enough room to stretch out in the cabin?

VERY NICE - thanks for sharing the photos! I may have to buy a lottery ticket - if i win, expect a visit. Best, Mav

The cabin has remarkably long bunks (7') and is reasonably comfortable to overnight on. It does not have much head room, but I can more or less sit up on one of the bunks. The upside is it takes substantially less deck space than other cuddy arrangements, and it's easy to scramble up to the bow deck to tend the anchor, etc. In calm waters, I fly cast from the bow.

Thanks for all the positive comments. I'm proud of this boat and hate to sell it. The 130 is a bit small but moves it at 35 mph. It has worked just fine for my needs and still runs great. I'll be glad to email pics to those who cannot view photobucket.

This is my dream boat. I have been wanting a 22 Cuddy for years. This boat, to me, has got to be the ultimate classic BW. Maybe, just maybe, one day.

I agree with whalertim-the 22 Outrage Cuddy has to be the best all-around design for the small boat owner. Me too, "someday...."

What did you get for it? Just curious. I own the same boat 1986 model.
