I usually don't post this kind of thing, since I always worry that a CW member is already negotiating with the seller and by posting I'll interfere with what's already going on. But in this case, I just got off the phone with Matt, the seller, who tells me he posted within the last several hours and hasn't had any offers yet.
Anyway...this boat looks very, very nice in the photos (go to craigslist/San Francisco Bay Area to see for yourself) and the seller is a very knowledgeable Whaler enthusiast. The motor is almost new, there are apparently very few spiderwebbing cracks in the classic 16"7" hull, the mahagony console looks beautiful, and the price sure sounds good for someone in the market (the motor itself cost just short of ten grand rigged).
Usual disclaimer: I have no business or personal relation with the seller. Here's the ad minus the photos:
E-mail with any questions. $11,000.00
Dual bat switch with charging by pass. "keep's both bat's charged at all times"
Mincota AC bat charger "keep's bat's charged during storage"
Tempter & Volt Gauges. Smart Tachometer.
Two 13-gallon fuel tanks with filter/water separator.
Raymarine RAY48 VHF Radio.
Raymarine DS400X Color fish finder.
Stock Boston Whaler Compos
Four seat cushions.
Galvanized trailer with spare tire.
No feed back helm.
Custom canvas boat cover.
Good luck. I hope the boat's just as nice as it appears to be, and that one of us ends up with her. Too bad it can't be me!
