I bought this console a few years ago in preparation for the restoration my 15' is currently undergoing. I have since decided to go another route in terms of my console selection.

For sale is:

- Original Boston Whaler center console, built for the 15' Center Console model
- The console is in good shape. It retains most of its
original gel-coat shine.
- The interior mounting blocks (for electronics, battery
switches, etc) and console base mounting blocks have
been professionally re-fiberglassed and sealed with
gel-coat. Extra mounting surfaces were added in
anticipation of many accessories.

- Brand new Boston Whaler windshield, built to fit 15'CC model boats along with many other Boston Whaler center console boats
- Was purchased new one year ago from Twin Cities marine
and was never installed.
- Windshield mounting kit is included.

$390 plus shipping

Thanks,

Mick

Do you know the height and the width of the console.

BTW how is your project 15 coming along. Pictures?

Good Morning Mick and Rich. That is a sharp looking console. I think I'm still leaning towards something mahogoney and offset. This time I want the battery centerline and paralleling the gunnels. I have a board wide enough to accomplish this however have not looked into required height, and how I am going to raise the starboard side riser to accomplish this. Using 5/4 again and do not have the height for raising right side.

Rich, did you ever design that mahogoney CC that resembled something from the Edgewater factory? That would be sharp with Holly layered into it. Starting with a "fresh canvas" is quite exciting, and overwhelming at the same time. Just really don't want to attempt that rigging tunnel project, so offset is looking more realistic.

Mick, how is your project coming? Wish I had time to run up but have three weeks to get the Jersey Speed Skiff ready for next ACBS show in Fla. Let's see some pics! zot.

Rich,
The footprint of the console is 30.5" X 23". The console is 23.5" at its tallest point.

I wish I could share some new pictures, but work stopped over the past few months as I was lacking funds. I made some money of winter break and work will resume this week. I'll keep you guys updated.

Zot, maybe when my rig is all buttoned up I'll take you for a ride and you can hook me up with a ride in your Jersey Skiff. I love those things.

You got it! Trailer the 15 down and we'll run. Spare room is yours. Would like to come up to see your operation and exchange some ideas. May be running up to Goose Creek to the Sea Fox plant to pick something up. I'll let you know. zot.

Would this console work for a Newport to Montauk conversion?

jrepp,

This console sits too low to be used in a Montauk or Newport if your goal is to stand up and drive. Its made more for sit down hulls like the classic 13' and 15'.

I'm more than willing to separate, and I'm still open to offers.

From Twin Cities Marine I paid:

$189 for windshield alone
$36 for new windshield mounting kit
= $225 for whole setup not including shipping

I'd accept $180 for the whole setup including shipping.

I'd like to get at least $185 for the console alone. This does not include shipping.

Thanks

Mick
