What do you think the value (price) is for
a) trade in
b) private party
for a 2005 110 Tender, 2005 Mercury 4 stroke with warranty, used one year, clean, bottom paint, new 2007 trailer, side rails. I am guessing the engine has 30 hours.

just kidding here, but have you ever kept a boat or car for longer than 12 months?
Sorry I have nothing to add about the value but it is a very nice boat.

I am getting better :)
I would only sell this boat to move up to a 13, if I can find a good deal, or perhaps even the brand new 50th anniversary 130Sport if the calls that I wrote expire unexcercised !

SAl, not sure about the tender, but Ive seen all kinds of prices for 13s, some appropriate and some not so appropriate...I guess it all depends on how you value things. I also know some people are getting 13s that they are gutting and redoing from scratch, sometime they will need a trailer as well, spare, in addition to the boat, they also may need a motor...so when your all done you need to look at apples and apples in the mix...Even though I got a fair deal on "Cygnet", I still had to see about replacing for new a trailer, side rails, etc and by the time I was done keeping her pretty original, it ran what a well services one would cost with 1964 pedigry...I guess you can buy ready made, or fixer upper...or in the one you mentioned, 13 grand for a new one:) Flavor is yours:)

I just posted this in Post Classic, but amazingly, the green, new salesman at the NJ dealer near me offered me a 130 Sport for $17,500. When I told him it prices out to $13k on Whaler's website, he told me that the $13k didnt include his prep. Too bad.... I used to like that dealer. LOL!

HAHAHA...man I could get a 150 Montauk with a 60 4s for that.
Sal what was the 110 new? I have seen bare hulls go pretty cheap on e-bay. There was one recently with a 10-15hp Honda that I think went for about $5k but not sure about trailer. Call Hance & Smythe and see what they say.

Oy Vehs mere!! Unreal!....And i wasn't sure about the price for my 13 1964 original Cygnet! Like I said, after you add a trailer, spare, motor, rubrail and a few other things..shes not cheap little boat anymore...got a call from a nice Military man who had the exact same boat as a child today and wanted to by CYgnet so its getting close to that time and you know how easy it is to part with a loved one who is part of the family...I see about an okay from the mrs first! hehe
Damned crook! I'd report him to florida for jacking things up liek that!

I paid $5600 plus tax for the boat and motor and bottom paint, and bought the trailer on my own for $600 I think? They price out new over $8k. Mine is 3 years old, although it is titled for the first time 10 months ago.

I "think" you should get at least $5k for it. Especially in a trade which would actually make it $5300 since you would save on the sales tax.

I was thinking I would trade up if someone had a leftover 130 Sport at the dealership (maybe 2006 even) and would let it go for my boat plus $6k.
May be a pipe dream though...

Actually even better.... If I could sell mine for 5k and find an older 13' with new(er) power, that would fly even better.

I priced a new 2007 130 Sport yesterday in SC. Just under $12K (plus sales tax) out the door including the Whaler $750 rebate on new non-2008 Sport models. A galvanized trailer and comfort package were included. Close to $14K for a 2008 model. Whaler is only offering incentives on previous model years on select boats.

Maybe not. We purchased a left over 2005 130 Sport in the winter of 2006 for just below your number.(before tax) It included

We bought our 150 Sport from Ed at McCarthy's last year - no pressure whatsoever. He added a 2nd fuel tank, coast guard package, and bottom paint at no additional charge. It was a very easy transaction all the way around. Bridge construction has had them going crazy for a couple of years, so ignore their yard appearance. They've been around a long, long time, and a commercial/government dealer as well.
