Yiddil and Living H2O:

I sold "Molly" to a great guy that I hope becomes a CW member. My boat and formerly Sal's is headed back to Barnagat Bay, NJ. The marine survey was completed yesterday and I want to pass a couple of data points. Miss Molly as equipped surveyed at $38K. I sold her for $28K and feel prety good about it for my buyer's sake and I feel relatively satisfied. I got the advertising lead from Sal A and highly recommend it. Sal has discussed it more than a few times on CW. Cheers - - Lars

Great News!! Thanks for sharing the surveyed price and sales price...just shows we nantucket owners have all been in the right neighborhood on pricing for used Nantucket pricings...Henry

Congratulations Lars! The new owner got a nice boat and a 150 HP Yami to boot!

Lars, I am very happy for you. I also get a kick that the former Mary Alice, and now Miss Molly (a nickname of Mary), has started its life in Barnegat Bay, spread its wings down south, and now is returning.

Tombro, this boat could be named Full Circle too! I will watch for this boat, as its owner lives near me.

I will keep an eye out for this boat. Where in Barnegat Bay? My house is on Barnegat Bay on the northern section right before the Mantoloking Bridge (a place called Curtis Point). I would love to see the forward dodger up front. I am thinking of putting one on my 21' Everglades.

Looks as though his beach place is at the opposite, southern end of the Bay at Haven Beach. Looking at Google Earth you have some separation. - - Lars

So it looks like all three of your Nantuckets sold this week. Good for you guys and those who bought them got real nice boats.

Lars........thanks. During most of the summer I stay at the Curtis Point house and go to Tices Shoal (about 40 minutes south of me) at least twice a week. People come from all over to go to Tices and hopefully I will see Molly there. If I do, I will let you know how she looks. Best of luck to you with your new boat.

Perry..........the two 150 H.P Nantuckets sold, but it appears Yiddle's 115 H.P. Nantucket did not sell. He closed his sale thread by saying "Das Boat is no longer for sale". One of the CW members asked him if it sold, or if he changed his mind about selling, but he never responded. In any event, its none of my business and I really don't care.
