I am looking for opinions on a fair price before putting my 15 footer up for sale. I have a 1980 hull with wood from a 1989 super sport. The hull started as a project hull. I painted with awl grip fighting lady yellow and oyster white. All new rub rail and lights from whaler. I have an early to mid 80’s 70 Yamaha that runs like a champ. On a good galvanized trailer. I am really torn about selling the boat, but with the addition of a son to our family I am moving up to 17 footer. Any thoughts on a fair asking price would be appreciated. I can send pic’s to anyone who might have an honest opinion on a fair price. The boat is in savannah Ga. I know boats down here run a bit cheaper than other parts of the country.

You could go to usedboats.com and do a search on your boat, you could also simply type in your year and model in your browser and see the search results.

Obviously, the value of your boat to you will certainly differ from that of a buyer.

Good luck.

It really depends on condition but somewhere around $5k seems about right. I assume trailer as well.

Up here in the Pacific NW, that package in VERY good condition would be $6k-$7k, IMO.

$5,000.00 for a 15 is right on the mark. The paint may help or hurt but that hull is worth a solid 5K good luck!!
