Hi Harris, I have an o.e.m. Boston Whaler leaning post from a late model Outrage if you are interested. I also have a desert tan late 80's nautical designs leaning post with tackle drawers, sink, etc. |

Hello Harris, I am now offering a very nice 32 inch wide leaning post. It is not too big and can be outfitted with everything from rod holders, under seat storage, foot rest, rod holders, etc. Email me at lunker@hargray.com and I will reply with some pictures. Thanks, |

I had one made by Millennium Marine in Seabrook, Tx. for $ 800.00. It was a custom job to my specs. Pretty nice guy and easy enough to deal with. 281-291-9892 http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v442/OTL4343/18%20Outrage/ ?action=view¤t=out127.jpg http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v442/OTL4343/18%20Outrage/ ?action=view¤t=out126.jpg |

I bought this one when I bought my 18 a year and a half ago. I love it. They also make a version with a hard box. I went with the soft pouch, because it's removable. http://www.boattowers.com/Leaning_Posts. htm?gclid=CP6wgsazxJECFRYTIgodEGhGOw Hope I get the links right now... http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j19/Tomol_2006/IMG_4827.jpg |

There are plenty of marine fabricators in your area. Tops-n-Towers is the top of the heap with prices to match, but unbeatable quality. Millenium also does a nice job, TSAW is in Victoria and Pro-Line is in San Antonio--all do a nice job so shop via their online sites and once you make your mind up, close the deal over the phone. Purists will not agree, but I added a leaning post with back rest, rod holders, under seat storage, cooler rack and foot rest to my 22 foot Outrage and it is by far the best mod you can make. Good luck in your search. |
