Hard to tell without detailed pictures and a list of options/accessories/electronics. Post some pictures, list whats included, and I'm sure we can help you. The range can be quite large depending on condition and whats included. Perhaps $12k to $17k.

Nats....if you decide you are going to sell, once you take the shrink wrap off, post some pics and list of options/accessories/electronics, etc. and I will be happy to help estimate a fair price.

Nats, Do you what your asking price is going to be? I'm looking for a 17ft Montauk in or around MD. Any additional info on the boat...

The "secret" of selling a boat quickly is to reduce the price to an amount you are not that happy with. If you enjoy selling a boat in a buyers' market, offer it for more than you would pay for it.

Have you checked out www.nada.com?

They have used "book" value pricing on the '97 Montauk. Also, have book value pricng on engines and trailers.

I used it in my divorce proceedings, took the average of the high and low and was never questioned.

Good luck.

BTW - I am in no way affiliated with NADA.

hey friend99, isn't the price pretty easy?

12k if you are buying, 17k if you are selling..........

As Nick said, anything is worth more than nadas prices, especially if your from Calif.
