I bought a new (to me) 25' commercial whaler, this one has to go. Will hear all offers, Asking $24500. The hull is a 1988 and was re-powered in 2003, and hull and fuel systems rebuilt this season (spring 2007).

The 2007 spring refit included de-rigging the boat, removing all decks, console and leaning post, applying new non skid, replacing the fuel system, including a new poly tank and all fill, supply and vent lines and filters and replacing the bilge pump and accessory wiring ($300). The boat was re-assembled and decks refastened with almost all new deck hardware. hull was sanded and primed in epoxy and painted with awlgrip. 5200 was used to fasten the decks and leaning post. The leaning post has been recovered with new vinyl. New cast smith rod holders ($400) and racks installed. A brand new VHF was installed and a Garmin 2006 multi function chartplotter ($1100) has just been installed. The rub rail was replaced. Note that the photos do not show the final logos, rod holders, chartplotter, etc

The refit encompassed about 300 hours of labor and $4500 in parts invested. This would cost well over $12000 at any yard.

Ran the boat 22 miles offshore for albacore last weekend (last weekend in july). Fuel burn was a reasonable 30 gallons after a day of tuna fishing. Ran a sailing regatta with it the previous week. Excellent boat for rough, wet conditions. Took it wakeboarding on San Luis reservoir the weekend before. About a month ago it was run for a commercial photoshoot. Excellent boat for all of these purposes. Boat will cruise 30kts in open water. Capable of 50mph.

Will arrange demo rides on weekends for serious buyers.

You have to see these boats to believe the construction. The leaning post and center console are solid aluminum, and the decks are 3/8" thick aluminum. NADA value for the non commercial hull with this trailer and engines, without all the work performed is $27500. Asking $24,500, Priced to sell, all offers considered. Cash talks.

Located Bay Area California. Will deliver just about anywhere on west coast for gas $ up to Vancouver.

Hi!
Looked at the pictures and I am seriously interested. Have been looking for a guardian for some time in about this size, everything seems to be great.
Do You know anything about shipping a boat like this to Sweden? Of course I can find out myself but if You how it works where You are it seems to be more easy.
