Where are you located? I've got a Squall for sale and would sell the mast seperately for the right price. You would have to pick it up though.

There is a mast fabricator in Gainesville FL from whom you might be able to buy the mast extrusion. The shipping on a mast will be almost as much as the mast itself. Do you have all of the stays, gooseneck, fittings, etc.?

See www.usspars.com

I heard that they will sometimes refuse to sell mast sections for liability issues but that was on big boats where injuries are serious if the mast comes down due to poor set up.

You may be able to use a mast from a Sunfish?

If you were coming to our Homosassa rendezvous I would have given you the one that came with my squall. Maybe next time.

A world of thanks to Robert(and Continuous Wave). He and I have been working on an exchange for a mast on and off for what seems like a year! He had a friend that was headed south for Bike Week, and the mast hitched a ride. I was able to drive up and get it last night. Can't wait to get this squall back in the water on wind power!

This goes to show how this site, and even the Marketplace, can be used in a positive way. Another Whaler is back in the water with members from the North and South Coasts working together. Happy Sailing Brian!

Jim, thanks to your site I have another new friend in Florida!
