I am looking at my family ( wife kids 2 and 3 1/2) and wondering if the Nauset that I have been working on will be a good family boat. Just for kicks, what is the going rate for a freshwater 2nd owner 1963 Nauset with a 1998 Yamaha 90, new console (from whaler plans) and Holsclaw trailer. It also has the original bimini and front enclosures. I have looked on ebay, here and the other whaler site and was unable to find any comps. I have not decided if I want to put it up for sale, but this may help. Thanks

If you can't fid any comparables...I bet we can't either being it is your boat and you know the exact condition.

Any pics?? By the sounds of it, your Whaler must be beautiful.

I have owned a Nauset for the past five (5) years. It is a great family boat !

Another consideration in determining the worth of your Nauset is its "replacement value". For example, I could probably sell my Nauset for $6,000; however, it might cost double that amount to replace it with a water-ready comparable vessel. Additionally, that $12,000 vessel would not be new and it could have its own set of hidden problems; as opposed to my Nauset, which I know is ship-shape.

Any interest in parting with the bimini top and front enclosures? I am looking for one for my Nauset.

I will try to get some pics. I would like to keep the unit as one package, but thanks for the interest in the bimini and enclosures. I have thought about changing the Nauset bench seat to one that was found on the Eastports as it would add some storage. Any thoughts?

Find a cooler that fits under it.
