I was looking at a 2002 Conquest 295 w/twin Merc opti 225's with all the bells and whistles, genset, ac/heat ect... for $72,000. Then what seems like a great deal came up on a 2004 Conquest 275 w/twin Merc four stroke 225's, Raymarine 10" color monitor with sonar, 36 NM radar, outriggers, the boat has the crusing package which consists of shorepower heat and air conditioning, 120 hours, anchor and wench, full enclosure 4 sides for $65,000. I know most of the differences between the two boats, but does anybody have any opinion on the ride difference? And any comments in gereral would be helpful.

General comment would be not to purchase those Opti's given the dark history, the Yams 4s would be much better although they are a bit sluggish with that boat.

I had read a few posts of the 295 being sluggish with 225 4 strokes, but I thought the 275 would be considerable better since it's over 3000lbs lighter with full fuel.
