Have got to the bottom of this fiasco of why Whaler charges $60 per for these things. Used to be made by Perko, Whaler bought the tooling. But it seems that now Whaler is having Orcas make them, and since Orcas is now owned by Southco, I contacted my Southco rep to see if he can help you guys.

I do know the former owners and founders of Orcas, one who sold his share and one who now works for Southco (brilliant man), so I am not done with this. You guys need a whole lot better price, and access, to a part that basically costs them pennies to make. The hell with Brunswick! Will keep you updated on my progress. Stay tuned!

Your's the man. I agree. Parts like that shouldn't be marked up so much. At least they could ballpark them with their competitors like Perko.

Keep at em & Thanks

Got an email from my Southco rep today. He has one of their "product specialists" looking for it. Whatever that is. But, I will get to the bottom of this, trust me! Once again, stay tuned, you'll know when I know.
