zot - the price is in the craigslist heading - $7100

drew - good luck on your sale. I just sold my '85 similar package except with a rebuilt 70 Johnnie. SS prop, anchor, fish finder/sounder, compass, all original owners manuals and brochures, OMC shop manual, etc. etc. 2nd owner. 20 years. Never met the buyer! Didn't do a water demo! Didn't even dry start the engine! The dry storage owner (good friend and RE broker) escrowed the funds no charge and wrote me a $6800 cashier's check. It was way too easy and way too fast. Did I leave some money on the table? Don't think so. I'm happy, but sad at the same time.

Zot. I am asking $7000.

Shipskip....I am going to miss her. She has been alot of fun. We are trying to downgrade our bigger boat (sportfish) and get into the 32 outrage or similar. It is just to complicated with 3 boats (sportfish, 14' avon, and the whaler). I will miss the whaler the most though...

Nice looking 15' but it's not a GLS.

The pictures are dark on my monitor, but that looks like a Super Sport 15 -- MY dream boat.

I know you're selling, but I'll trade you a 1992 15' GLS for it (keep our own engines).

We are towing our GLS down next week to Fort Walton Beach for the next three months.

Whaddya say?

That IS a beautiful boat, though!

Whaler Ace,

Thank you for your interest. However, I am trying to consolidate (I have 3 boats :). I have a few people coming to look at her this week and a gentleman that offered me $5500. If you were interested in doing something better than $5500 - she is yours. Thanks again for your interest!

If I didn't already HAVE one, I would give you $5500 in a heartbeat for your boat -- it looks like it was well kept.

Good luck on your sale. Someone is getting a great deal!

Gees, don`t lower the price any further, your going to devalue all our small Whalers. There is a good demand for that boat. people are downsizing. It looks like your panicking. That's a nice Whaler.

over 5 years ago I sold my 85' 15' GLS with a 70hp for over what you're willing to accept. unless you got to dump her, I'd hang-on. She's worth more then that, you just need the right buyer. as they say, they don't make anymore like that one. My pretty 17' GLS is my pride and joy. never had so much fun with a boat, she screams with the 90 Johnson.

Bob,

Thank you for your feedback. I have decided not to sell her. I am not ready to part with her for $5500.00. I am going to keep the boats that I have for the summer and rethink everything this winter. Maybe when the market changes I will rethink everything...
