A friend of mine bought a mid eighties Starcraft 18' (est)bowrider and after a season or two of use, the foot on the old motor failed. Last summer, he had a 2006 zuki 150 4s installed with gauge cluster and side mount controls. The new motor made the old boat look so bad he went shopping for a newer hull and ended up getting a great deal on a complete package. He brought the new toy home this week.

Now the old boat, motor and trailer are for sale. The main value, obviously, is in the new motor. He would like $11,000 or bring an offer. The trailer is road worthy, the boat's paint and upholstery are showing their age but servicable. The boat is in Tallahassee FL.

You can reach the owner at 850-566-3452.

Thanks,

John McBride

What size shat? Just FYI...Ed's has engine only for $8.5k or so...plus install, gauges, controls, prop, tax, etc. This might be a good deal for the self installer if you could slap your old power back on the boat and get a few G's out of it.
