Hi,

Looking to buy a used casting platform for my recently purchased '88 Montauk. I'm located in RI.

Howdy,

After not buying a fiberglass one, I'm going to have a guy in Narragansett make one out of teak for me. If you want to see if he would cut us some slack for two of them being made at the same time, let me know. Where in RI are you?

Hi Dave,

Jeez, I hoping I was going to have the same luck you had in your previous posts. I thought you had purchased a used OEM platform, no?

Sure, I'm interested in your solution. How do we take this discussion off line?

The OEM platform thing never came to fruition... so dunno.

I have a VERY good wood guy who is VERY reasonable here in Narragansett, and I'm going to have a teak one made. he's the guy doing all of the woodwork on my Grand Banks trawler. Shoot me an email and we'll figure it out. Try DSutton@TrawlerExplorer.com or jusat click on the 'send email' icon on the message board here.

I just emailed you and it got bounced back to me. Message stated that your mailbox is full.

Yes, I'm very interested in tagging along on the teak platform solution. I had some some thoughts on the design and wanted to get your feedback and no to any of these questions is not a deal breaker.

Does your scope include:
Lockable storage?
Water tight storage?
Spacing between the boards?
Surrounding the console parallel to the back of it?

Email me an alternate email address.

Thanks,

Matt

I don't know if this will help you but I have a poling platform custom made for a Montauk. I have removed it and am trying to sell it. If you are interested you can contact me.
