http://webpages.charter.net/brainstormer/whaler/ Question: would i be smarter to sell it with or without the 1999 Johnson Ocean motor (115ph) and when's the best time of year to do so? Momma had knee replaced & health issues, boating is not going to be an option soon :( thankyou Gary

Your pics show a early 90's 90hp. Do you still have that and the 115 or did you repower? If you repowered then you need to have an engine on it for better resale. NOW NOW NOW is the time to sell it. After June your odds are half. |

He has a note about repowering and other things at the very bottom of the page. |

If you are not in a huge hurry to sell the rig, advertise the motor first. If you get a lot of interest on the motor you can always sell a 17 whaler hull. For that matter you can advertise them at the same time, for the price you want and wait on someone to come to your price. |

the 1998 115 has been on it for two seasons. It was overhauled and a new foot put on. finally breaking in and idling down to 700rpms Its oil injected and runs like a top. Thanks for the advice everyone. |
