My Dad purchased this new, never painted rarely used. Motor is original 1987 Johnson 88 SPL. Runs great.

Trailer is new, 2002 Ventura. Very clean boat, all original, no modifications from new, not even a radio!

$9,000 OBO. Will be posting on ebay shortly. Boat is located in Newburyport, MA, just north of Boston.

Guys,

I have spent a lot of time talking to Brian last fall about this boat and he really is a great stand up guy. I ended up finding a boat that was much more local for myself but I did have Newt (Nate) survey it for me. If you are looking for more images and findings of his survey look him up.

Wow. That thing is right out of the Whaler catalog. Somebody here buy that boat and keep it in the ConinuousWave family.

I agree with Andy, it's a peach.

What a great looking boat.
Isn't the trailer a bit 'overkill'?

Ha ha

Brian,
Don't you have some long lost relatives ("kin" as we call it)in the south you need to visit? Atlanta preferably?
I recectly swung and missed on a similar boat in NC.
I am in the market but don't have the time to drive to Boston or the desire to pay someone $1500 to ship it.
Very nice rig. The fact that the 88 spl is a premix is probably a good set up on a Montauk where there's not a lot of extra space for an oil tank.

Jeff, I'll search and see if I can find some contact info for Newt. Thanks for the heads up.

Thanks,
Actually I didn't have to search long, Newt has a Revenge for sale near the top of the page. I just sent him an email.
By the way.. that should say "recently swung and missed" in may first post. I'm rusty I guess.

Man, that is one hell of a trailer...I've never seen one with six tires before. Ventura sure knows how to make a statement. How's the mileage? YPIAKA!

Thanks for the kind words on the boat......

I just emailed newt to see if he has any pictures of the interior, i failed to take some......

My sister actually lives in Suanee, GA. She owns the best rental company on earth, Metro Rentals - which is just north of suanee in the next county.

I shipped my 20 outrage from SC last year for 700 I think, it was very reasonable. I would think there are a lot of boats coming north right about now so a backhaul south should be relatively inexpensive. I used uship.com to find a hauling cmpany and had a very good experience.

Brain,
I think I have a lead on a Montauk that is about an hour or two away from Atlanta. I appreciate the feedback on yours. Good ones don't last long so it should be gone soon anyway.

By the way, Suwanee is about 15 minutes up I-85 from my house.

Newt did send a some photos of the interior by the way.
Thanks again Newt.
