I'm thrilled to have recently purchased an '88 Montauk. The boat came with a roller trailer which I would like to sell the roller trailer and buy and a keel roller bunk trailer. Can anyone recommend a manufacturer?
Thanks in advance.

No need for keel rollers unless you use really crappy ramps. Get a nice alum bunk trailer.

Continental in Florida is one option. They don't make the larger trailers anymore, but last time I checked they did make the smaller ones. If you go bunk, check out aluminum. Steel prices are way up (50-60% since last fall) and you have to figure it's going to trickle down to galvanized trailers if it hasn't already.

After you shop around, price out the parts needed to convert the roller trailer (if possible) rather than buy new. It may be worth it in the end.

I had an EZ Loader roller trailer for my Katama, and I decided to buy a Loadmaster alum trailer, and sell the ez Loader. I ended up selling the EZ Loader for only $300 less than buying the new trailer.
The one I have has the oil bath hubs, and a spare tire, LED lights, three nice and wide keel rollers, and every bolt on the trailer is Stainless Steel. This trailer should pretty much last forever, because I only launch in freshwater.
I used to bring Loadmaster trailers up from Florida for people who were interested in them, But I have not made that trip for a couple of years.
