I am selling my 1980 Montauk and was trying to set a fair price. The hull and trailer are in good shape, all original teak and rails, the motor is an Evinrude 90hp same age as boat, bimini top is fair, and it has a 24v great white trolling motor. I bought the boat about 7 years ago from the original owner with all of the item metioned and have be using it the whole time. I am up grading to a larger boat, more grandkids who fish. I hope gas keeps going up so I can continue to regret selling this boat. Wife said one boat only. Thanks for any comments.

Based on a running 28 year old motor and without photos how about $4,500 to $7,500. Things that add or subtract greatly from the value include canvas (mooring cover, bimini, bow dodger), electronics (VHF, GPS/FF age and condition), trailer (long haul ready vs. local use) and bottom paint.

Best of Luck with the sale
