I purchased this Skegguard for my 115 Merc and it would not fit, it's brand new with all the bolts and fasting glue. Cost me $104.00 plus $20.00 for shipping. Will sell for $75.00 including shipping.

A lot..go to skegguard(I think skeggard.com ot\r skeh\gguard.com) or overtons and look at the model #.

It won't fit because it's to wide at the top of the skeg (looking towards the bow) so it's about an inch wider then the skeg. Thats why I did not install it. I purchased it from Boat Boys and they would not take it back because I had it over a month. Like I said it's brand new in the package. Fred

Duh..should have read the title of the thread.
Went on 4 different sites and they all say that is the one to use...weird. It also fits Yamaha and Honda 4 strokes.

Well it won't fit the Merc 4S 115 and I can vouch for that. I'm looking for a replacement that will fit.

Call Skeggard directly. When I had one bend in half(not a warranty deal, trust me)they were kind enough to give me one at dealer cost...in other words, good people.

You were right, I E-Mailed caled Skeggard and within 1 hr Boat Boys were calling me to help me out, some people do belive in customer service, thks for the tip.
