I am looking for a used 15' Boston Whaler. I would consider repowering it with a new 4-stroke outboard
Looking for a clean boat that I will keep in the garage
Please call or email David in Venice, FL

There is one for sale in Osprey I believe, look on Sarasota Craigslist. There are also like 5 for sale on E-Bay.

This is not too far from you. It has been on FT. Myers' CL a while...odd colored seats.

You have to scan Craigslist EVERYDAY. Takes 2 seconds to type in Boston Whaler and hit the search button(I do it). You then go to the next town. Being in Venice I would scan Bradenton, Ft Myers, Tampa, and Lakeland CL's. You can also look in the Sarasota Herald online.

Having bought a one-owner '76 15' Sport in May, I think 15's that are in excellent condition and reasonably priced sell very fast. It's a very popular boat that has a great reputation.
You have to be ready to jump when you find the listing.
My understanding is if you google "craigslist+boston+whaler+15" you'll get all the 15' Boston Whalers listed on any craigslist.

Considering that I am on the BW board I suppose I should feel a bit awkward about this. :(
This morning I purchased a 2003 Carolina Skiff 16DLX with a 2003 Yamaha 50hp 4-stroke and 2005 Continental trailer $5500.
From now on I'll be pounding my way up and down the bay.
Everyone thank you for your help and time

Don't feel awkward, that sounds like a good price. Plus look at it this way: you won't have to worry about whether you've had a shower before you head out fishing; you are guaranteed to get one on the way...

You have "NO" idea just how much your going to pound in your skiff.
Those boats are very stable [ good fishing platform ] , "BUT" you really take a beating even if there's a ripple on the water.
There's absolutely no comparing a Carolina skiff to a Whaler, especially the 15' sport.
As Jim said, the 15 sport is probably the very best 15' - 16' boat "EVER" made.
