I will get pics and exact year(82-83) for those interested. Engine has never seen salt water or been left overnight on the transom. I doubt she has 50 hours on it and still has the ORIGINAL spark plugs in her. A definate for those looking for a vintage outboard in more than excellent shape. She has a couple shelf marks but even the paint is still on the skeg. A remarkable find but not "new in the crate" either. Nick 941-545-3808 will help with shipping arrangements.

Can't believe none of you whaler perfectionists are not interested. This engine should be in your living room on display.

Shot,
I am sorry. I shouldn't have given you that shot. Dang submit button. It's just a pet peeve of mine. I hate the word "MINT". If you have ever bought anything used that was said to be "Mint" you'll know what I'm talkin bout. Especially if you are a collector.

This is as mint as a not in the crate engine can be in my opinion. If you did not know anything about engines and I said it was a 2007, you would agree. Without being in a crate a few scratches are bound to happen and it was "used" to some extent. Nobody would be disappointed in this engine's condition for this price.

You can pretty much take it to the bank that the motor will run and run good. And not for just a season. If gib says it's a good motor then it's a good motor.
