OK, I just have too many projects/toys and not enough time/space/or need. This gem began as a 14' Rage with the Yamaha jetski motor. It was removed and everything was sealed up. The 9.9 Yamaha High Thrust remote has minimal hours on it. I have aluminum plates to put on the transom to reinforce it as well as just about everything you will need to finish this easy project (controls, steering, seat). This boat will not break the sound barrier when finished. What it will do is use almost no gas, it will work in areas with under 10hp restrictions and be good where children are restricted to under 10hp. If preferred (or necessary by restrictions), I can substitute a similar Yamaha tiller model motor. Pictured trailer is included. $3500. Thanks. OK while i still do not have the money for it i am getting closer. I still don't know if this is the boats for me. I do like it. Can you post some more pictures of the interior, and the transome where the jet drive used to be i would like to see more details of it inside and out. Is the transom built strong enough to hold we'll say a 25-35 HP motor older 2 stroke lighter 150 LBS tops. |

I did nothing to strengthen the transom. I have some 1/8" aluminum plate that I was going to sandwich the transom in to protect it from the 9.9 motor's clamps and bracket. With a larger motor, you might be able to do it by using thicker aluminum. I'll get you some more pictures. |
