Classic 1983 Montauk 17' in great shape with a 1986 Merc 115hp tower of power outboard.

Dry and sound hull, with reversable pilot seat, 25 gal aluminum tank, new class 27 battery, new steering, new cables. Motor is strong and has rebuilt carbs, new SS prop, recent water pump rebuild. Motor has 128 lb compression even across all cylinders.

Trailer has good tires, new spare, new rollers and jack and is in good all around condition.

The boat is capable of 45mph + and will cruise easily at 3000 rpm or less. This is a rough water boat, dry and safe and is also capable of getting pretty skinny too with a 7" draft.

This rig is ready to fish. Turnkey and reliable. The boat is located in Miami, Florida

Asking $6500.00

Call Bob at 305-271-0731 or 786-371-5078 cel or email me at hunch@bellsouth.net

Isn't a 115 overpowered for the capacity plate?
Thanks

Max is 100hp but MANY 17's have had 115's on them.

I think that 115 would be a BLAST to drive though!

The boat must be sold. Illness forces sale so I'm reducing the price to $5500 firm.

Call Bob in Miami at 305-271-0731 for more info

No, I was going to be in Hialeah for work and looking at a boat in Palm Beach County. As I said in my email, I'm in NC now but will be back on the 20th. If its still available, I'll be down on the 21st.
