The motor is an Evinrude 15 Hp Model 15904E, 1979, two stroke Manual Start Can be converted to remote helm control Shaft length from bottom of transom mount to top of cavitation plate is 17 inches. This motor runs beautifully and idles smooth. It has been inspected and serviced every winter, and for the past 10 years it has operated on full synthetic marine oil in the fuel and gearcase. It has been operated in fresh water only, except for a couple of times this past week. The skeg has never been run aground and there has never been any damage to the engine or gearcase whatsoever. It has the CDI ignition system and the pickup and coils were replaced just two years ago. This past winter the lower unit was removed and the following was done as routine maintenance: 1) All seals replaced (no evidence of any water intrusion in the gearcase) 2) New stainless water intake screens installed 3) New impeller installed 4) Carburetor completely rebuilt The prop is the original factory unit that came with the unit, a 9.5 x 10, and it is still in very good condition. Compression in both cylinders is 120 psi. The gearcase shifts easily and engages positively. There are no missing parts or cobbled-up fixits.
