i am looking at two dauntlesses both 15 feet. The first is 1998 and was garage keep and super clean, Look New with a nice trailer and and nice motor all 98, asking 10000. the second is a friends boat that is 1996 that looks sun baked but is very sound andthe motor is a 60 enenrude that runs good but looks ugly. The trailer is junk. Was wondering what to offer on the second, low book is 4175 high is 4695.the first seems to be a great boat that was well taken care of.low value is 5550 and high is 6260, but with low hours it looks like a 2005. What would you offer my friend and is the second whaler a good deal.

Thanks fra

Not sure how to word this but grandpa always said, "don't sell your old car to a friend if you want to remain friends". I guess the same goes for boats in some cases. Sounds like this might be one of those cases.

thats the problem with making a offer to him,i would like to offer 4500 but as we all know, when it comes to whalers you can throw out nada value. and i dont wont him to think i cheated him in the future

10k for a 98 sounds very high. 3 years ago I bought a 95 in mint condition with Honda 60 4S and only 60 hours on boat and moter plus a majic tilt trailer for 7,500.
