I have a 1985 17 Montauk with a 27 gallon Pate tank. Since the tank is incompatible with the ethonal that is now in all of the gas pumps here in Florida, I have no use for it. Today, I pulled the tank out of my boat with 12 gallons of fuel mixed with oil remaining inside it. The fuel had begun to get some fiberglass residue in it. If anyone wants it, they can have for free. However, you will need to pick it up at my house in Merritt Island, FL. You will need to take the tank and the gas that's in it. Send me email if you want it. Brian

Not to steal your thread but I've got an original 12 and 15 gallon Pate original that I'd be willing to donate, originally promised to TohsgiB, if anyone is interested. At this point in time they are located in Hilton Head/Savannah and no plans to make it to Fla., but they are available. zotcha. |

Brian, your tank should be disposed of, NOT passed on to anyone else -- especially if it already has fiberglass breakdown. |
